Dad jokes are simply the best. They capture the innocence, stupidity and hilarity of so many situations and unintentionally are much like dads, comforting, clumsy and a bit lacking in self-awareness. But that is why we love them. So today we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the genius jokes that our forefathers have handed down to us, and to remind us of some of the comedy gold that has been shared through the years.
And sure, there is a decent chance that our generation's dad jokes will not pass to the next, at least so long as they are not uploaded to TikTok. But that does not mean that we cannot take them out for one more spin. And who knows, maybe dogs will learn to talk soon and we will be able to pass our jokes along to them instead of our hooman kids.
