LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - The Lawton woman accused of embezzling thousands from the Flower Mound PTO is currently out on bond.
Brigitte Sharp is charged with a felony count of embezzlement.
According to court documents, she was arrested this week and subsequently released on bond.
Investigators say Sharp embezzled more than $20,000 from the organization during her time as treasurer.
Bank statements from the PTO reportedly showed funds being used to pay off credit cards in Sharp's ex-husband's name.
Sharp is scheduled to appear in court in early April.
