ANTHONY DAVIS is set to miss up to a month for the Dallas Mavericks after suffering a shoulder injury.
The 31-year-old traded from the LA Lakers with Luka Doncic heading the other way as part of a shock swap deal.
Davis made his Maverick debut in their 116-105 win over the Houston Rockets but was taken off with a left adductor strain.
Together they won an NBA championship in 2020, after the season recommenced in the bubble.
Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka sent AD, Max Christie and his team's 2029 first round pick over in exchange for five-time first-team All-NBA superstar Doncic.
