Luxury retailer Harvey Nichols has unveiled its 2025 Beauty Advent Calendar - and it's a skincare lover's dream. Priced at £250, it's definitely a splurge, but the value is hard to ignore: inside, you'll find over £1,000 worth of premium skincare, make-up and fragrance. With more than 30 products tucked behind its doors, it's one of the biggest beauty calendar we've seen so far this year.
Inside, you'll find a whopping 37 products - including 20 full-sized - from luxury brands like La Mer, Charlotte Tilbury, Augustinus Bader and Trinny London. There's no denying it's a very impressive line-up. Harvey Nichols has also popped a surprise £50 gift card into one out of every 50 boxes - so you might even end up with money to put toward some extra Christmas presents.
There's no doubt this is an impressive offering for 2025, even among the many different calendars from the likes of Liberty, Harrods, Lookfantastic and Fortnum & Mason. Here's why the Harvey Nichols 2025 Beauty Advent Calendar is a serious contender to level up your Christmas countdown.
Expertly curated by Harvey Nichols beauty buyers, the calendar includes iconic favourites from Le Labo, Augustinus Bader, and La Mer, alongside trending favourites like Trinny London, Color WOW, and Philip Kingsley - making it the ultimate luxury countdown.
There are also some very expensive products to be unwrapped. The most expensive is La Mer's The Renewal Oil, which retails for a whopping £120 - almost half as much as the entire calendar. This multi-tasking oil floods the skin with hydration, leaving it soft and ultra-smooth, while also making it feel firmer and reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
There's also a super luxurious Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream, which retails for £77, to complete your skincare routine. Beloved by celebrities including Victoria Beckham, this luxury moisturiser targets visible signs of ageing, such as fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. It delivers deep hydration while maintaining elasticity, strengthening the skin barrier, preventing moisture loss, and shielding against environmental stressors. The formula features Professor Bader's TFC8® (Trigger Factor Complex), a patented blend of natural amino acids, high-quality vitamins, and peptides that helps the skin renew and repair process.

Other full-size standouts include the blurring Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Lip Blur Lipstick (£29), which is perfect for Christmas parties. The mattifying NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder (£35) will also be great to keep shine at bay after a night on the dancefloor, and the Eve Lom Cleanser with its accompanying makeup-removing cloth (£58) to leave skin clean and refreshed.
I already use several of the products inside in my own routine, so I can confidently say the selection is impressively well curated. One standout is the Trinny London Sheer Shimmer (£26), part of Trinny's iconic cream-based, stackable pots that double as both a blush and a lipstick. The calendar features the shade 'Mama', an opalescent red shimmer that offers a low-maintenance way to achieve a classic red lip. A true multitasker, it's effortless to use and almost impossible to get wrong.
Another highlight is a can of my favourite Davines More Inside Strong Hairspray, perfect for keeping flyaways at bay and curls intact. Unlike many hairsprays, it's never sticky, even on my fine, straight hair, yet it delivers just the right amount of hold to keep any style securely in place with ease.

For 2025, the retailer hasn't launched just one calendar. At the end of September, you'll be able to shop the Harvey Nichols 12 Days of Fragrance Advent Calendar 2025, priced at £175 and featuring £700 worth of perfume. Last year's edition sold out online within the first 24 hours, so we suspect this year will be no different.
