A person died in a construction-related accident in Midtown Manhattan on Friday, according to the FDNY.
Details on the incident were still developing on Friday morning, but city emergency management officials said they were responding. The incident was reported at 34 East 35th St.
Officials also said there were traffic delays and road closures in the area.
The NYPD did not have more information on the incident and the Department of Buildings did not answer a call seeking comment.
