Champions League: Milan vs. Girona - Probable line-ups and where to watch

Sergio Conceicao has a limited set of available players to choose from when Milan take on Girona in the Champions League on Monday evening, as at least three players will be unavailable through injury while another misses out through suspension.

Fikayo Tomori has picked up yellow cards in matches against Bayer Leverkusen, Slovan Bratislava and Crvena Zvedza and is now suspended for one match. Malick Thiaw is expected to be unavailable as well, which leaves a starting centre-back pairing of Strahinja Pavlovic and Matteo Gabbia.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Samuel Chukwueze and possibly also Christian Pulisic could also miss out this evening, so not too many changes are expected in midfield or out wide following the 2-0 loss against Juventus in Serie A over the weekend.

Pre-match reports suggest that Ismael Bennacer will start next to Youssouf Fofana with Tijjani Reijnders in the trequartista role, with Yunus Musah and Rafael Leao out on the wings.

Alvaro Morata is expected to return to the starting line-up in place of Tammy Abraham up front.

Kick-off is due at 19.45 GMT.

Milan (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Emerson, Pavlovic, Gabbia, T.Hernandez; Bennacer, Fofana; Musah, Reijnders, Leao; Morata.

Girona (4-3-2-1): Gazzaniga; Francés, David Lopez, Krejcì, Blind; Yangel, Romeu, Van de Beek; Tsygankov, Bryan Gil; Abel Ruiz.

Tonight's game will be broadcast live on TV in the UK on TNT Sports 8 and is also available to watch online through Discovery+. Supporters in the USA are able to tune in via Paramount+. In Italy, the game will be shown exclusively on Sky and NOW TV.
