Man dies in Iowa County ATV crash
MINERAL POINT -- A Mineral Point man died in an ATV crash in Iowa County on Friday afternoon, the Iowa County Sheriff's Office reported.
At about 3:05 p.m., a 911 caller reported an ATV rollover on County Line Road in the town of Waldwick, Sheriff Michael Peterson said in a statement.
Dennis L. McCarville, 77, was driving a four-wheeler on a steep hillside while spraying weeds when the vehicle overturned and came to rest on top of him.
McCarville was pronounced dead at the scene by Iowa County Coroner Wendell Hamlin. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is leading the investigation into the crash.

The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office said he was Derrick D. Allen, 48, of Madison, and that preliminary findings confirm that Allen died as a result of crash injuries.
The crash happened in the area of Kennedy Road and Northport Drive around 5:25 p.m. The driver remained at the scene and was cooperative, Madison police said. The death remains under investigation.
Motorcyclist was from Ames, Iowa
LAKE MILLS -- Authorities on Friday released the name of the motorcyclist who died in a crash last Sunday afternoon on Interstate 94 near Lake Mills.
The crash happened when the motorcyclist, Terry L. Peterson, 64, of Clarion, Iowa, lost control about 2:15 p.m. on westbound I-94 just before Jefferson County turns into Dane County, west of Lake Mills, the Wisconsin State Patrol said in a statement.
