Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department hosts child safety seat clinic

BUTTE, Mont. - The Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department is hosting a passenger safety seat clinic to help parents learn the best ways to keep children safe while riding in cars.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Station No. 1, located at 120 South Idaho St. Attendees should use the Galena Street entrance. The clinic will run from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.

According to Safe Kids Worldwide, road injuries are one of the leading causes of preventable deaths and injuries to children in the United States. The clinic aims to address this concern by educating parents on proper car seat installation and usage.
