RNLI lifeguard patrols are ending for the season on most beaches this weekend.

Patrols will finish on 11 of the 16 RNLI-lifeguarded beaches in Norfolk and Suffolk on Sunday, September 7, with just five sites remaining under supervision until Sunday, September 14.

The five beaches with extended cover are Sheringham West, Cromer East, Mundesley, Sea Palling and Gorleston.

Ted Morgan, RNLI regional lifeguard lead, said: "Sunday marks the end of our peak lifeguard season for 2025.
