LOS ANGELES - The season finale of "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" is Wednesday and promises to be one of the most grueling challenges yet.
With no glamour and no easy outs, the remaining celebrities - who have already endured intense trials straight from the Special Forces selection process - will face their biggest tests, according to FOX.
What we know:
In the new episode, the remaining five recruits -- including Brody Jenner and Kayla Nicole - will enter the final week of Selection, where they must mentally and physically push themselves to overcome the most challenging tasks they've encountered yet.
What they're saying:
"I cried my way through this entire show," Nicole, a content creator and fitness expert, told FOX Television Stations. "I think that the producers did a great job of cutting that down because if not, it would have been an episode after episode."
Nicole added, "I would consider myself to be a tough cookie, but I think I left this experience really fully understanding that I am so much stronger than I could ever have imagined emotionally, but also physically too.
What they're saying:
For Jenner, known for other reality TV stints on "The Hills" and "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," this experience has been unlike any other.
"None of that prepared me for this," Jenner admitted. "This is a totally different type of format of show than I'm used to, and those types of shows, "The Kardashians" or "The Hills" or whatnot, you can take breaks and production stops. This was, from the moment you arrived till the moment they started filming. There was no break."
He added, "It was a wild experience."
On Wednesday, the recruits will fight against the infamous "Redman," escape an ambush, evade an enemy hunter base, and face a phase of resistance to interrogation. It's their final chance to prove they can endure the harsh demands of the Special Forces.
Brody added, "I wanted to make my family proud and I wanted to go and show up for this. I've come from a long lineage of military background. Both my grandparents served in World War II and I heard a lot of stories growing up, and, yeah, I wanted to give it a try for them and for my family and my legacy. And, I learned a lot about myself; I learned that if I truly put my mind to something that I'm capable of a lot more than I think I am for sure."
