The Powerball jackpot for Monday's lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $142 million, with a cash option of $65.8 million.
The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia. NJ.com will publish the winning numbers immediately following the conclusion of the drawing.
No one across the country hit Saturday's $133 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets sold.
In New Jersey, no one won more than $200 with a single ticket.
Saturday's winning numbers were: 23, 44, 57, 60 and 62. The Powerball drawn was 9 with a Power Play of 2x.
In addition, no one won the secondary $10 million Double Play drawing on Saturday. Those winning numbers were: 5, 20, 23, 36 and 53. The Double Play number drawn was 6.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers but not the Powerball and win at least $1 million. The odds of winning a third prize of at least $50,000 are 913,129 to 1.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot is valued at an estimated $110 million, with a cash option of $50.2 million.
