In the wake of the ongoing Los Angeles fires, Orange County restaurants have stepped up to lend support.
On Thursday, Jan. 16, Haven Craft Kitchen + Bar, Provisions Deli and Bottle Shop and Chapman Crafted Beer in Orange will host all-day fundraisers wherein 100% of proceeds will go to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and the American Red Cross, which works with local agencies to provide shelter, food and services to evacuees and residents affected by the fires.
"It's during times like these that we're especially grateful to be part of a community that comes together to help others. Everyone in Orange County has a personal connection to someone devastated by the fires in L.A. - this tragedy is too close to home for us to not join in the relief efforts," said Wil Dee, founder of Haven, Provisions and (along with business partner Randy Nelson) Chapman Crafted Beer, in a written statement. "We're counting on our many supporters to come out and enjoy our full menu knowing that 100% of our profits will help those in need."

Diners who want to participate in the day-long dining event, branded HAVEN4LA, at Haven Craft Kitchen + Bar should make reservations by visiting havencraftkitchen.com. Provisions and Chapman Crafted Beer welcome walk-ins on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Thursday's effort comes on the heels of Tuesday's county-wide fundraiser wherein more than 80 restaurants pledged to donate 20% of dining proceeds to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in support of their fire-relief efforts.
Since the fires first ignited on Jan. 7, more than 100,000 people have been displaced with entire neighborhoods destroyed in the Pacific Palisades, Pasadena, Altadena and Sylmar areas.
As of Tuesday, Jan. 14, the fires have decimated roughly 12,300 structures, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, and killed at least 25.
