OKLAHOMA CITY -- A restaurant chain known for its Southern-style fried chicken and biscuits announced plans for a north Oklahoma City location Thursday.
Bojangles plans to build a restaurant on North Pennsylvania Ave. in Oklahoma City, just east of the recently-opened Dick's House of Sport.
The restaurant chain, specializing in made-from-scratch breakfast and Southern-style food was founded 46 years ago in Charlotte, North Carolina by Jack Fulk and Richard Thomas. Since then, Bojangles has expanded to more than 800 company-owned and franchised restaurants in 17 states and counting.
"We're excited to bring our legendary chicken, biscuits and tea to Oklahoma," said Stacey McCray, vice president of communications for Bojangles.
