Free mobile pharmacy coming to Davidson County

Davison County residents will have the opportunity to receive free over-the-counter medicines on Sept. 25 on the Davidson-Davie Community College campus.

The NC MedAssist Mobile Free Pharmacy will be on the college campus from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Attendees can take home over the counter medicines such as allergy, cough, cold, pain relief, vitamins, children's medicines and more.

Participants can also prder the meds they want in advance at www.medassist.org/mobile if completed by Sept. 19 and then pick them up on-site on Sept. 25.

No appointments are necessary, nor is ordering in advance required. Participants must be at least 18 years old to receive medicines.

DDCC is at 297 DCC Road, Thomasville.
