Sam Altman-led OpenAI's artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT continues to make buzz with lay users and techies reporting anomalous outtakes by the AI. There have been several cases in the past where AI chatbots have allegedly threatened users or coerced them to suicide, including some recent ones. While those incidents are truly terrifying, brandishing the LLM programs as benevolent beasts bred by the binaries, there are some hilarious instances that prove AI may have some sanity and sense of humor after all. A techie on X/Twitter posted that they asked ChatGPT to pick a number between 01 and 50. Per the screenshot shared, the program randomly picked '20.' The user tried to troll the AI, stating, "We will not communicate with you and will not use ChatGPT for 20 days." The chatbot immediately asked if it could pick another number. Upon approval by the user, the chatbot quipped, '50.' The user did not share a public link to the conversation, so there's no proof of the conversation being genuine.
Other users tried to recreate the conversation with both ChatGPT and rival AI chatbots, getting mixed reactions.

Users online seemed perplexed at the AI's response, with some wondering if it is getting more humane by the day. Others were worried about the pandemic of loneliness these conversations showed. Meanwhile, one user dubbed ChatGPT "ChaDGPT' for roasting the techie.
