Blues Men look to stay perfect heading into Sunday's match vs East Atlanta

ASHEVILLE -- (WLOS) - Asheville City Soccer Club met this morning at Buncombe County Sports complex for a morning practice in the drizzle.

So far this season, they are 1-0 coming off of a smashing 10-0 victory against Apotheos FC. Tony Kim, a member of the South Korean national team, joins the blues this season. He is also a currently a player at University of Alabama-Birmingham. He reflected on how soccer has been present in his life from an early age and that it has become his life over time. He said his objective for the season, "Focusing on finishing like scoring goals. I can say it's my life I mean yeah I've played soccer since when I was a kid maybe like 10-years-old. I can't live without soccer." Another newcomer, Callum Frogson, is getting some reps in at Asheville City in preparation to join and help lead the Tar Heels this fall. He said, "I think the biggest thing is just being a leader."

The Blues will face East Atlanta away this Sunday at 5 p.m.
