HLN is reporting that Ajax have rejected an offer from Turkish side Besiktas for young striker Mika Godts. The Istanbul side offered over €10m for the former Genk man, but Ajax have insisted that Godts will not be sold at this moment. Besiktas still have time to return with an increased offer, as their transfer window remains open until the 12th of September.
The 20-year-old Godts joined Ajax during the 2022/2023 season and has a contract in Amsterdam that will run until 2029. He made his debut for Ajax during the 2022/2023 season and has gone on to play 69 games for the side, scoring eight goals. during the 2024/2025 campaign Godts provided Ajax with eight goals and six assists. He has only made two appearances for Ajax this year and is yet to find the back of the net.
Ajax are unbeaten in their four games so far this season, with two draws and two defeats.
