The actress, known for her powerful performances, steps into an all-new arena with the captive-format reality show hosted by Ashneer Grover.
Actress Aahana S Kumra, widely admired for her versatile on-screen roles, is all set to explore uncharted territory with her debut in the reality space. She will be seen as one of the contestants in Rise and Fall, a brand-new format making its way to Indian audiences.

For Aahana, this marks a new chapter she had long been waiting for. "I'd been in talks with the makers for doing Khatron Ke Khiladi for many years now. This year, I was very gung-ho when they approached me as I was sure that I wanted to do it this time. I love adventure sports and Khatron is the best thing for that because you get paid to do adventure sports," she shared.
However, when Khatron Ke Khiladi got cancelled this year, fate had different plans. "I had no choice but to let go of that dream again. But when they called me again for Rise and Fall, I was intrigued... it's the first time they're doing this show in India, and it coincides with my first time doing any reality format," she explained.
The captive setup of the show, which requires contestants to stay disconnected from the outside world, is what excites and unnerves her. "It is very challenging because I'm somebody who's so addicted to talking to friends and family and being at home... I would like to see how persistent I can be, and this is the reason why I wanted to do the show," Aahana revealed.
Rise and Fall will feature 16 contestants, including Arjun Bijlani, Kiku Sharda, Kubbra Sait, Dhanashree Verma, Arbaz Patel, Aarush Bhola, and Nayandeep Rakshit. The show, hosted by Shark Tank India's Ashneer Grover, begins streaming on September 6.
