Our game, this Saturday, against Plymouth Argyle, still seems an age away with the international break still upon us.
In fact, I've never known an international break appear to last so long.
Perhaps its because the break came just as we'd put together our best two results / performances of the season so far, Burton Albion (a) and Barnet (h) in the EFL League One and Vertu Trophy respectively.
As is the norm, before our EFL fixtures, I've taken another look at our 'Played For Both' series.
Last time out, in the following article - they-played-for-both-revisited-plymouth-argyle - I, in cojunction with your suggestions, came up with the following starting XI (plus substitute):
As can be seen, it contains some familiar names, particularly those of Les Sealey and Clive Goodyear, both of whom won medals after leaving the Hatters.
But, with Plymouth Argyle's path closely following ours, since we last played them, with the club falling into EFL League One alongside ourselves, not much appears to have changed.
As a consequence there doesn't appear to have been much transfer activity between the two clubs, or indeed the linking up of players who, on their journey, have worn the shirts of both clubs.
Indeed, the only player I can think of qualifying since the above starting XI was published is:
But, have I missed anyone who you think fits the criteria and should be in the starting XI?
If so, please feel free to drop their names into the comment facility beneath this article.
