Tickets are now available for the Eden Prairie Community Foundation's EP Gives gala and fundraising event on Saturday, April 30, at the Green Acres Event Center, 14150 Pioneer Trail in Eden Prairie.
"The Eden Prairie Community Foundation will use the 'enchanting event center in a historic barn' to honor its 2016 grantees and its donors, and mark an anniversary milestone. The event gathers more than 200 of Eden Prairie's most involved, connected citizens to an evening of socializing, appetizers and drink, music, dancing, a live auction and a short program. There will also be a special appeal for the organization's Youth Initiative and Dr. Jean Harris Scholarship," according to a news release.
"Eden Prairie High School Principal Conn McCartan will be the evening's emcee, and dance music will be provided by the band High Brow and the Shades. This year's EP Gives also has on-site parking; call (952) 949-8499 to reserve your spot."
Tickets cost $100 each ($65 is tax-deductible) and can be purchased on the Foundation's website, www.epcommunityfoundation.org, or from board members. Proceeds support the foundation's work, part of which is the annual grant program that has produced about $1.6 million for local needs and causes.
